MIDWAY — “Yes, Your Tide is Cold and Dark, Sir,” a film shot in Lewes and Rehoboth Beach, is making its world premier locally at The Movies at Midway.
Filmed in 2011, the movie uses settings in Lewes such as Dairy Queen, Irish Eyes, Second Street and Pilottown Road. Settings in Rehoboth Beach include Planet X Café, Thrasher’s French Fries and Whiskey Jack’s on the Boardwalk.

Michael McFadden (as Frank) is menacing. Films of this nature demand a commandeering alpha, a predator of equal strength but who operates outside of man made laws, someone who answers only to his own id and McFadden is that with room to spare. His interacts with Archer and Jodie Shultz (who plays his wife Betty) are a debauched Shakespearian power struggle… and convey a complex and incredibly explosive relationship that gives so many dimensions to what could be a two dimensional character. Michael McFadden plays the role of “Psycho”, the Russian henchman, in this 21st Century adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic, Oliver Twist.
The Vietnam War feature film, “The Battle Of Ripcord”, from director Shannon Lanier and Dark Ronin Films, is now in development and set to begin production in Winter 2013.

Independent film company, Graffiti Playhouse, is pleased to present the premiere of their newest film, Blood Lodge, starring Greg Greco, Matthew Imparato, and Michael McFadden. The event will be held at The Washington Theatre, 165 E Washington Ave, Washington, NJ. There will be a Q and A with the cast and crew immediately following the screening.

Michael McFadden is disturbingly terrific as the film’s villain, adding a dramatic heft to a production that occasionally dances a bit too close to camp. (read more)
